Cancer
While we are not an oncology practice in general, we are super-generalists and are taking on select cancer patients with new onset Turbo Cancers, failed traditional oncology treatment patients and thers. We generally do not take on terminal (Stage 4) cancer patients as it may be too late and possibly an alternative practice (palliative care, hospice or pain management) is more ideal.
We subscribe to an ALTERNATIVE THERAPY FOR CANCER CARE outlined more completely with the IMA protocols (www.imahealth.org) As we use stand along repurposed drugs and agents and this can be in combination with more traditional centralized oncology therapies (chemo,
radiation, etc.)
To be clear, CHM care plans are very individualized. They are very dependent on our full evaluation of a cancer patient whether we recommend traditional, alternative or a combination of both in our care plans.
CHM does not use scheduled pain control medications, so if a patient is seeking this we cannot accommodate.
