GENERAL FAQ

No, we do not accept 3rd party insurance or Medicare. We have opted out of all healthcare insurance in efforts to better serve our patients. We put patients first and are not captured under the influence of private or government insurance contracts. The patient may file for reimbursements with most insurance companies. Medicare filing is forbidden and an Opt-Out contract (CMS waiver) has to be signed.

Yes, we do treat cancers of many kinds. We follow the Cancer Care monogram put forth by the FLCCC (now called IMA). Dr. Saleeby also uses many other CAM forms of cancer treatments or refers to centers that do.

Dr. Saleeby has been ILADS trained and precepted with respected and widely known Dr. Richard Horowitz. He is an active member of ILADS and subscribes to their general treatment options. However, tick-borne illness (Lyme disease or better said MSIDS) is a very complex illness and treatments are very personalized and individualized using precision medicine. So no two Lyme patient’s treatment plans are alike. CHM has had success with Chronic Lyme illness where other centers have failed. We are referred to as LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctors)

Dr. Saleeby personally trains each and every advanced provider (physician extender) such as Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates in the practice. Each NP and PA is entered into the Priority Health Academy for ongoing training. The biggest difference between Dr. Saleeby (MD) and the NP/PA is cost/fees for visits. Dr. Saleeby consults and signs off on Care Plans for new patients. Every other week there is a Q&A session among the providers to discuss complex cases. This practice has a high communication rate among physician extenders (APP) and Dr. Saleeby. Rest assured the quality of care is excellent. CHM is considered a center of excellence in the Integrative/Functional Medicine/ Holistic community.

Yes, we offer Telemedicine services and have done so since 2013. Before it was vogue to do so we ironed out all our Telemedicine/Telehealth platforms.

We offer a lot of services from traditional allopathic to alternative (Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)) to fully Functional and Holistic care. We are all CTP (Certified Tribal Practitioners with the FNMB) and as such can provide alternatives to allopathic medicine, and indigenous paradigms. We are considered Super-Generalist and are not afraid to take on most subspecialties in medicine. We do not do obstetrics and do not generally see children under the age of eight years of age. Some of our key specialties are Hormone Balance (Thyroid and gonadal hormones); Lyme Disease; Neuroinflammation; COVID related disorders; Mold Illness; EMF sensitivity; Food allergy & sensitivities; Dysbiosis – Leaky Gut; Heavy Metal and environmental toxicity; Preventive Medicine, Peptides and bespoke therapies.

We also have a wide network with other holistic practitioners such as chiropractic, TCM/Acupuncture, Energy Medicine, holistic psychiatry, holistic cardiology, spiritual healers, and other CAM healers. We also work with traditional allopathic practitioners to co-manage patients (oncology for example) as long as they are open minded and accepting. Yes, we offer Telemedicine services and have done so since 2013. Before it was vogue to do so we ironed out all our Telemedicine/Telehealth platforms.

Yes, typically above the age of eight (8), however some exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, as integrative practitioners when appropriate we do prescribe some medications. That being said, our list of meds is a short list of safe and effective medications. We avoid toxic meds with our patients. We do help with polypharmacy and getting people off unnecessary medications in a very safe manner as some require careful tapering off protocols. We also address nutraceutical polypharmacy (too many supplements).

Currently we do not offer these types of therapies onsite but CHM has a network of offices that do offer such.
