Dr. Andrea Saffer is an AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a recent graduate of MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina) where she earned both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Her clinical training was focused primarily in family medicine providing primary care services to people of all ages. She previously obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009.

Andrea's clinical background as a registered nurse has been in acute rehabilitation nursing and she achieved national certification in this specialty in 2011. Andrea has been interested in functional and integrative medicine for many years and is enthusiastic to incorporate her passion for wellness into her FNP career. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Upstate Nurse Practitioner Association of Greenville, SC. Andrea is a long-time resident of Charleston, SC and is eager to assist clients in achieving optimal health utilizing a holistic approach.

She will be training under Dr. Yusuf Saleeby a functional and integrative practitioner. A satellite office of Priority Health of SC will be set up in the Mount Pleasant area of Charleston, SC in February 2016. Appointments are being accepted now in advance.

Adequate time and attention to details prevail in our setting. We provide intensive patient education to allow our clients/patients the ability to help themselves and prevent disease without too much oversight or reliance on healthcare providers. Much of what we fix are deficiencies in nutrition, hormones, neurotransmitters and a balanced lifestyle.
